Attorney General has announced that contractor registration is now open.

Contractors in Pennsylvania can now register with the Attorney General’s office at www.attorneygeneral.gov or by phone at 1-800-441-2555.  Forms can also be requested by mail addressed to: Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection, Attn: Home Improvement Contractor Registration, 15th Floor, Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 17120.

Remember that registration with the Attorney General’s office is only one half of the compliance with the new law.  The other half is that the construction contract that you utilize on your jobs must meet the requirements of the new Home Improvement Consumer Protection Law.  Attorney Shook, can help you by providing you a construction contract form which is specifically tailored to your specific company.
